Our IT Asset Management Services focus on generating the highest possible profit for our customers through the management of their redundant IT equipment, as well as the creation of an environmentally sustainable reuse solution through the IT refurbishment process.
Alfanet is managing entirely this process. The collection and logistics of the equipment, the secure data erasure, its assessment and evaluation and finally, its resale or destruction.
Each piece of equipment is monitored through our daily operations and controlled through our WRM. The stages of the process include:
(a) a safety and PAT test
(b) diagnostics to assess the functionality of its components
(c) erasure of its sensitive data with CESG approved software
Our Asset Management Services goal is to maximize the residual value we return to our customers by operating either on a profit-sharing or fixed price purchase basis.
This is achieved through our experienced sales department and our large sales network across Europe, which ensures our ability to maximize the profit we return to our customers.
This scheme involves the receipt of the equipment list from the customer, containing information regarding the type of equipment, its characteristics, quantities and location.
Based on the list info we provide the initial sales forecast. Once the equipment is delivered to Alfanet, the technical inspection process begins and upon its completion we determine the final selling price. This process includes a PAT test, component functionality test, data erasure, cosmetic grading and evaluation.
The equipment that successfully passes the above process is resold to Alfanet's partner network. Subsequently, Alfanet provides monthly sales reports to customers informing them of the selling status and progress.

Alfanet provides a wide range of solutions that allow us to collect the clients’ equipment from any location, refurbish it, repaint it to the original manufacturer's colours and redeliver it to any location the client desires.
Equipment selected for reuse will be subjected to a variety of testing procedures to ensure that it meets the re-use requirements. If it passes the check, then it can be upgraded and renewed accordingly.
This flexible approach allows customers to redistribute their equipment using different types of refurbishment processes to suit each client’s budget.
